There is an old saying in computer science that says, "Beg, borrow, or steal before you invent brand new." This means build off of what has already been done instead of reinventing the wheel all over again. Spell Check Utilities (SCU) builds off the Wintertree Sentry Spell Checker Engine (SSCE) by providing the glue code, in the form of a plugin, to access the SSCE routines in REALbasic.

The problem with many spell checking solutions in the REALbasic market place is that they use platform specific built-in services to provide the spell checking. This is fine if you want to build for only one platform or the other, but becomes a hindrance when you want to create a cross platform application that behaves exactly the same for every platform.

The SSCE is a very fast and powerful professional spell checking engine. It has many features and benefits.

Minimum Requirements

SCU is supported for Mac OS X (mach-o and universal binary) and Windows platforms.

Purchasing the Plugin

Pricing for this software is $500. To purchase a license, click on the "Buy It Now" button. You will be sent a serial number that will allow you to unlock the functionality of the plugin for built applications. The plugin is fully functional while when running the REALbasic IDE.
