Targeting a Scrapboard Window
After you sand a scripture in a Bible Sander window, you can save it to the targeted Scrapboard window. Within the Bible Sander program you can have multiple Scrapboard windows open, so you need to tell Bible Sander which window you want to receive sanded scriptures. To “target” a Scrapboard window make the Scrapboard window the active window and then select the “Make Target” menu item. The title bar will then display “(Target)” to indicate that this Scrapboard window is the target. Only one Scrapboard window may be a target at any time. If you want to change the target to another Scrapboard window, simply repeat this process with the other window.
You may also drag and drop a sanded scripture and citation from the main Bible Sander window by using the drag and drop icon. With this method you can drag and drop to any open Scrapboard window.
Citation Style
You may choose the citation style for the scriptures. The first style choice is where you want the citation to be displayed which includes the following choices from the Location popup menu.
- After - Display the citation after the scripture.
- Before - Display the citation after the scripture.
- None - Don’t display a citation.
- (xxx) - Surround the citation with parenthesizes.
- xxx: - When the citation is before the scripture, place a colon after the citation. When the citation is after the scripture, place a colon and a space before the citation.
- None - Use the citation as is.
You select scriptures for exporting in the listbox in the upper half of the window. If no scriptures are selected, then all scriptures will be exported. The selected scriptures will be displayed in the bottom half of the window and will be displayed in the order they are shown in the upper half of the window. To change the order of the scriptures, simply drag and drop the scripture to the new location. When you have the scriptures want selected, then simply copy them to the clipboard with the “Copy” menu item.
Editing a Citation
You can edit citation in the Scrapboard window by clicking on the citation field of the scripture.
